Friendly Neighbourhood Elves

Delivering cookies. Eating cookies. So tired. So cranky. How much further? Why won’t he wear his mittens? Now he’s lost a boot. Oh no, everyone’s escaped. This could be slow. Sloooooooooow. Hey, someone’s home! Oops, pajama-time. How early in the morning is it, Mama? Hey, someone else is home! Would we like to come in and warm up? Would we like to come in! Cup of coffee for mama? Cup of coffee! Oh, yes, we brought you these treats … that my children are now eating. For you, a second bag.

I would have invited you in too, except did you notice that my two children seemed really hyper?! Yeah, a little too hyper to host company. Not to mention our place was soo messy that I am not sure you could have sat anywhere anyways.

Thanks for the cookies though. Was I supposed to share them?

Share them with the kids? That’s up to you! I won’t tell you if you decide to eat them all yourself!

Thanks, Kristin. Merry Christmas to you and your family too! I visit your blog rather obsessively, I must admit, to admire the gorgeous photos of your children, to imagine we’d live near enough that my youngest could go to your preschool, and to enjoy looking in on your daily activities …
